Have you ever had a beautiful day where the sun is shining; the birds are chirping; the trees are swaying; when...BAM...temptation comes out of nowhere! Here you are trying to mind your own business, not bothering anyone, when temptation wants to pay you a visit.

A part of you is mad because once again, you have to deal with this 'mess,' but you know if you don't deal with it quickly and properly, you will give into its call to sin.

YOU DON'T MESS AROUND WITH TEMPTATION AND ACT LIKE YOU'RE OVER THAT AND IT CAN'T AFFECT YOU!!!!!

2 Timothy 2:22 (KJV) - Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.

1 Corinthians 10:12 (KJV) - Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.

Temptation and sin are nothing to play with and should be taken seriously!!!!

Though I have no control over what others do (or the presentation of temptation), I do have control of my eyes, mouth, hands, and feet. I can turn away, keep my mouth shut (or declare God's glory), keep my hands to myself, and get my feet moving in the opposite direction.

We never know when temptation will strike, so we must be prepared at all times. Sometimes the worst temptation comes when it sneaks up on you - catches you off guard. When this happens, you have a split second to decide what you will do next. Temptation is alluring...that's why it's temptation - tempting you to do something the flesh likes.

It's important to know the 'ins and outs' of the things that tempt you - when, why, where, how. Believe me, Satan already knows. He will definitely use what he knows about you to find a good moment to strike.

1 Peter 5:8-10 (KJV) - Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.

Temptation is coming...what you do with it is up to you!
