Why does sin and things that are not godly intensify our curiosity? There are things on television, movies, radio, etc. that we should have no parts of as Christians, but our curiosity leads us closer to them.

This morning I woke up with a thought on the DaVinci Code movie. It's becoming obvious that this movie is not of God - the discussions attest to it. I don't need to see the movie or buy any of these debunking books to learn more. Jesus is Lord! He didn't marry or have children! He is the Son of God! BAM! There you have it...see, that didn't take long!

Sadly, thousands (if not millions) of Christians have been persuaded to see this movie by their own Pastors. This movie is a 'wolf in sheep's clothing.' Why go to the wolf's house for tea and crumpets when you know he wants to eat you! Leave it alone and stay away.

As Pastors said, it is a conversation 'piece,' but I don't need to watch the movie to answer questions - the answers are in the Bible. If I need to conduct a history search, I can go to Wikipedia (for free).

Saints of God, I implore you to leave the curiosity alone. There are many things in this world that don't require our personal exploration to know it's bad or to use as a witness tool.

Curiosity of this nature only provides Satan another opportunity to deceive you. The Truth has set you free (John 8:31-32), so why return to a lie?! Focus on the truth!
