Living Out of Lust is a resource for those that deal with various forms of sexual sin. (There are some issues that go beyond the scope of this book such as homosexuality, molestation, and rape. Though there may be some insight gained into these areas, they aren't specifically addressed within this book and will require additional counseling and support.) Many Christians, including myself, have lived in sexual sin for many years. Since the age of eight, I have engaged in shameful sexual acts, driving me into an abyss I felt I could never escape.

When I became a Christian, I thought I could control the desires, but I soon gave into the sexual appetite within. I sinned against God in order to satisfy my shameful desires and lusts. I wanted to be free, but I felt it was impossible - the tempting call of sexual lust seemed too great to ignore.

Though sexual sin can leave us feeling morally, physically, and spiritually bankrupt, we can find prosperity in the wisdom and teaching of God. God can help us weather through the storms of sexual temptation and put them in their proper place - behind us. We don't have to be slaves to sexual sin! We don't have to sin!
