You may be better than other people in many areas. These people may not be as talented, proficient, professional, developed, or polished as you are. You would like to encourage them, but you may not know how. You feel 'stuck' because you want to encourage them and (genuinely) don't want them to feel insignificant or inferior to you. Plus, you try to ensure you don't act proud or better than they are. So, how can you encourage someone in this situation?!
Encouraging other people is not based on your experience, expectation, or perspective. Encouraging is all about the person. You encourage them based on their growth within their own skills and abilities. Maybe they missed ten things and now it's down to eight. Even though you don't miss any...you can encourage the other person by telling them how much they improved and to keep up the good work.
