The Strength of a Man

I once heard that behind every good man is a good wife. Thinking about my wife, I realize that there is no way I can be the man I am today without her. As a help meet, my wife makes me a better person, husband, father, and career member. She helps me when I'm in need, she strengthens me when I'm weak, and counsels me when I need direction - she completes me. THERE IS NO WAY I CAN BE THE MAN I AM WITHOUT HER! I never realized how much a woman means to a man.

Over the years, I've learned about the power and influence of a woman. With my wife, I've pointed out the good, but there are some women that may not be as good (influentially). Some examples of negative influence can be found in Eve (Genesis 3), Sarah (Genesis 15-18:15, 21:1-21), Moabite women (Numbers 25; Revelation 2:14), and Delilah (Judges 16:4-22).

This message is a call for men and women take responsibility to respond/react appropriately and to build relationships that edify and encourage and not tear down and destroy.
