arrowFind a place of fellowship and worship that will teach you the truth of God's word and will allow you to grow as His disciple. Ask God to show you where this place may be. Talk to other Christian friends, co-workers, and family members. God may use one of them to direct you to a good church home.

Be patient and take your time in selecting a church to attend. Wait until God confirms the right church for you. He may speak directly to you or give you an overwhelming sense of peace (Colossians 3:15). (NOTE: God may also give you a uncomforting feeling about a church to let you know that it is not the one for you. It may not mean God is against that particular church, but it is not the one He wants you to attend.)

arrowPray continually (1 Thessalonians 5:17).

arrowRead the Bible (Psalm 119:105; Romans 10:17; 2 Timothy 3:16-17; 1 Peter 2:1-5). Find a Bible that is easy to read. Start with the book of Matthew and continue to the end of John. These books of the Bible speak about Jesus' life, death, resurrection, and provide His teachings which are to be followed by all disciples. Afterward, please start from the beginning of the Bible and read it through.

arrowTell others of your belief in Jesus (Matthew 10:32-33, 28:18-20; Mark 16:15-16).

arrowLook for ways to be a blessing to others (Acts 20:35; Romans 12:14-21).

arrowFollow in the ways of the Lord (Luke 9:23; 11:28; John 14:15; 2 Corinthians 5:14-15; Philippians 2:5-8; 2 Timothy 2:15).
