New Year resolutions are overrated!
Every year many people wait with expectations of the New Year. With a new year comes hope of a fresh start - an opportunity to begin again. What I've found over the years is that many people don't remain committed to their new desires (or goals) to change (I rarely do)...and by March, the resolution is a distant memory. Then, we spend the rest of the year living how we want and by December were thinking about another (or the same) resolution. But here's the 'kicker,' instead of changing what we know should be fixed today (right now or in December), we wait until the New Year (for that idea of a fresh start) and remain committed to our bad 'behaviors' until then.
If you know something in your life needs to be changed - what are you waiting for! Today will come and go and tomorrow isn't promised. Make the most of your 'today.' Life is too short to hold onto dead weights holding us down! Those same weights we hold onto today, become greater strongholds to break tomorrow (and you know that's the truth)!
Time is non-refundable! Once it's spent, it's spent! You cannot change what has occurred, but you can change what will occur. You don't have to move the whole mountain of your issue in one sitting, but little by little you can bring your desire to change to fruition.
One word...one step...one prayer...one moment.
Is there something you should be doing now?!
