Over the course of my years surfing the Internet, I found a number of free resources that have provided a wealth of information for Bible studies, building this website, and other personal benefits.

A free Bible program that is a smaller version to their fee-based product.
- e-Sword - http://www.e-sword.net/.
Another free Bible Study program developed by Rick Meyers.
e-Sword is packed with many useful features.
e-Sword also has a Pocket PC edition that is also free.
Both programs have free add-ons, but some are not.

Desiring God is a ministry of John Piper, one of the most prolific teachers of the Gospel in our generation.
Though every item on the site isn't free, there are a lot of free resources well worth your time and study!

Not everyone can afford to purchase Microsoft Office...so there's Open Office.
Open Office is an Open Source program that accomplishes many of the same functions as Microsoft Office...and it allows you to open and save Microsoft Office products.

pdf 995 allows you to create PDF documents for free.
I've been using this program since 2005...and it's great!
Website Development
- HTML-Kit - http://www.chami.com/.
HTML-Kit is a powerful program for developing websites.
Chami provides a number of plug-ins and tutorials to help you build an outstanding website.
One of their best plug-ins is SLUGS (Simple Little Utility for Generating Schemes).
SLUGS is a smart color picker that even allows you to match a color on the screen.

This is the software platform Spiritual Combatants is built upon.
It is an Open Source Content Management System...and it's free.
It is a powerful program with a lot of features to help automate specific web functions.
- Swazz - http://boxover.swazz.org/.
This is the website that created the hovering pop-ups (boxovers) for the scripture references on the site.
The program is lightweight and simple, but very powerful.
